Today was the next to the last challenge in the 7 days of Smudgefest, sponsored by
Smeared Ink . This has been such fun, and wonderful to see such awesomely talented entries. Today was a little more difficult, and it also took me the most time, since I'm not too swift with sketch challenges. LOL
This is a page I made for my BOS using one of the gorgeous images from Smeared Ink's Nymph rubber sheet. She is so beautiful, an Ocean Goddess to me, more than a nymph or undine, caring for all the creatures of the sea. I colored her with Derwent Inktense pencils, then added some gems withing the water she is playing with. I colored a background piece with pastels, added some rocks & many, many laser cut-outs from Lil Davis that I've had for about 8 years or so.
The big fish is from K&Co, and the gems & pearls are BoBunny. The background piece was put on a piece of Navy CS. All of this was placed on a piece of patterned paper that I deckle edged & inked/chalked, then placed on a base of Grey CS. I'm gathering names of Sea/Ocean goddesses which will be written on the opposite side in my BoS.
Only one more day left! Whew!
