Smudgy Antics Challenge - Rain Down on Me

I really have a thing for boxes. Years ago, I had a "money spell" box, but I have no clue where it disappeared to. Anyway, I made a new one and this is will be on the lid of it:

I used a piece of DCWV's Street Lace for the base. The background of white & blue was done using Distress Stains in Picket Fence and Denim, spritzed with water & dried. It kind of looked like clouds and rain. The stamped image is from Smeared Ink, a digi called "Fortune Teller", colored with colored pencils in shades of mostly green (for money, what else?). I added some gems falling from the sky, a sentiment handwritten, some mint green ribbon, a strip of printed gaffer tape from 7 Gypsies.

Love the effect created with the stains with the added rain drops. The colouring of your image is fab as well :). Thank you for sharing at Smudgy Antics this week and look forward to seeing more of your artwork

Dianne, you did a great job on the marbled stains technique for the Compendium of Curiosities 2 Challenge, and created such a wonderful and fun piece! The rain drops are brilliant.

I Am A: Lawful Neutral Elf Mage Ranger

Alignment:
Lawful Neutral characters believe in the triumph of law and order above all else. It does not matter whether the leader is for good or evil; the leader will be followed, because the order they provide is the most important thing.
